Changping District Imported Cold Chain Food Transit Inspection Warehouse to Put into Use in Beijing

Changping district in Beijing completed the site selection, planning and transformation of the transit inspection warehouse for imported cold-chain food on May 8, to carry out centralized supervision and move forward with the Covid-19 prevention and control checkpoint.

The transit inspection warehouse has been officially put into use since May 10. It is located at the intersection of Ansi Road and Huichang Road, with a total cold store area of 500 square meters.

If the monthly throughput of imported cold chain food increases, the existing 8,300-square-meter room temperature warehouse can be upgraded at any time.

The inspection warehouse is mainly divided into waiting area, inspection area, disinfection area, static area, nucleic acid detection area, office area, etc. It is equipped with disinfection spraying facilities, special storage warehouse, special channel, epidemic prevention and control office, and staff quarters.

It adopts one-way traffic mode. The goods can be reserved on the "Beijing Cold Chain"online platform. With goods arriving at the designated time, the workflows are carried out in sequence such as registration and inspection, preventive disinfection, nucleic acid testing, temporary cold store, and out registration. During the process, closed-loop management and 24-hour video surveillance without dead ends are carried out, to prevent the risk of contamination of imported cold chain food and to achieve precise epidemic prevention and control.

Changping District will also carry out unannounced inspections, including personnel health management, waste disposal, data uploading on the platform, and "Changping E-Enterprise Link" check-in, etc., to regulate businesses from all-round aspects.
