SIPG: Shanghai Port Sees Container Throughput Recover

On May 12, SIPG, Shanghai Port Group officially published the announcement.

“Since the outbreak of the epidemic, SIPG has actively expanded the storage capacity of refrigerated containers. The new refrigerated container area of Yangshan Port has been completed ahead of schedule and put into use. At the same time, container terminals have voluntarily implemented the latest version of the national standard (GB16994.3-2021) in advance on April 14, effectively releasing the container storage capacity of dangerous goods.

At present, the storage volume of refrigerated and dangerous goods containers at Shanghai Port remains to be normal. Refrigerating and dangerous goods import and export container operations were carried out normally in all port areas.”
