China’s Pork Wholesale Price in the first half of May

According to the data from MARA, China’s pork wholesale prices in the first half of May show a slight upward trend from 20.05 yuan/kg to 20.60 yuan/kg.

It can be seen that pork wholesale prices leveled off in May after a surge in April. As OIG+X posted before, prices in April range from 17.83 yuan/kg to 20.17/kg.

Despite the recent rise in pork prices, prices have remained low for the same period in recent years due to ample supplies.
